Handi Quilter Training

We had the pleasure to travel to Salt Lake City Utah for Handi Quilter retailer training.
Their 80,000 sq foot facility was amazing!!
They have such a great flow of operations and double and triple check systems that really make their product the best out there. Did you know each Handi Quilter machine you purchase is ran through a series of testing to make sure it can handle all of your quilting needs?
Many companies only test one or two machines per production but Handi Quilter tests ever machine. I don't know about you but that makes me feel better!

I'm so pleased that we are able to be a retail location for such an amazing company and product!

I do hope you stop in soon and try one out!!

Thanks for stopping in!

Pattern Testing

I had the chance to test a great pattern by @chellequilts on Instagram.

The pattern went together super fast. In fact, after church on Sunday we went out with family for a super long lunch. We stayed quite a while catching up and visiting. I'm not sure what time I started on this quilt but I know it was later afternoon. I cut the fabrics and completely sewed the top together by that evening. I told you it was fast!!

For the backing I went with some of my all time favorite Happy Go Lucky. I barely had enough to cover the back!!

Just look how close that was! It was rough but I made it lol.

For the quilting I went with a feathery damask pattern.

I would definitely reccomend this pattern to anyone! I love how it's fat quarter friendly. The quilt finishes at 50x60 inches and is a great lap size. I feel that it is beginner friendly and the pattern will be available to purchase in her shop by August 15. Thank you so much for the chance to test this great pattern Michelle!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
